WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR SKIPS?
We offer a range of 2 yard, 4 yard, 6 yard and 8 yard skips. If you would like a quote for any of our larger skips please call us on 0115 987 4097
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
So you have decided to hire a skip from us, (you won’t be disappointed):
Give us a call and we will arrange for a lorry to drop you a skip off in a time range that suits you.
After you have finished with the skip call us again and we will arrange for a lorry to come and pick the skip up from you.
Please note that pick up of the skip depends on the availability of our lorries. We will try and pick it up as quickly as possible, but we can’t guarantee it will be the same day.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE THE SKIP FOR?
The prices listed cover 2 weeks hire. If you need any additional time you will be charged at an extra £15 per week. If you need a longer period of time please call us for a bespoke quote.
WILL MY DRIVEWAY BE BIG ENOUGH FOR YOUR LORRY?
You need to allow at least 8 foot or 2.4 metres clearance for our lorries to be able enter your garden area. However, where this is not possible we have a skip loader with extendible arms that can drop a skip inside the opening. If you are unsure or have a tricky area for the skip to be placed then please call us on 0115 987 4097 for guidance.
MY SKIP NEEDS TO BE PLACED ON THE ROAD. WHAT DO I DO?
You will need a council permit. We can sort all that out for you. There is an additional cost of £50.00 for this service and you will need to wait approx 24-48 hours (depending on the local council).
WHAT CAN I PUT IN MY SKIP?
It’s easier to tell you what you can’t put in your skip: So here are a list of the things you CANNOT put into our skips: Abestos, Tyres, Fridges and Freezers, Gas Bottles, Full Paint Tins, Needles and obvious hazardous materials.
